VIRAL BREAKDOWN · INSTAGRAM REELS

AI Took Your Job VIDEO Breakdown (Prompts Included)

AI took your job. And apparently, your extremely demanding routine of putting your feet up and scrolling. 😭

This @trueclassic Reel turns a familiar AI anxiety into a tiny office comedy. A woman walks in. A robot has made itself comfortable. The replacement seems to have learned a little too much about being human.

01. The text gives an ordinary entrance a bigger meaning.

The opening reads:

“POV: AI finally took your job”

Without that line, we’re watching someone enter an office.

With it, we’re waiting to meet her replacement.

The word “finally” gives the setup a slightly resigned, extremely online tone. This isn’t a long explanation of automation. It treats the scenario as something the viewer already recognizes.

The text supplies the premise. The next shot gets to supply the joke.

02. Let the human reaction set up the reveal.

In the opening second, a woman approaches through a glass office doorway with a bag over her shoulder.

By roughly 0:02–0:03, she has stopped inside the doorway. She holds the bag strap, looks into the room, and raises her other hand near her chest.

The framing keeps her reaction readable before showing what she’s looking at.

That small gap creates the question:

Okay… what did the AI do?

There’s no need for a dramatic entrance or a complicated transition. A familiar office, a pause, and a look are enough to prepare the reveal.

03. The replacement inherited the wrong habits. 🤖

By approximately 0:04, the video has switched to the robot.

It’s reclining in a black office chair, with its feet on the desk and a phone held upright. An open laptop sits nearby.

The robot has taken the workstation. It has also settled into a very human way of avoiding work.

That’s the reversal.

The opening makes “AI took your job” sound like a threat. The image turns it into a joke about office behavior.

Bestie automated the break too.

The details do the explaining: feet up, phone out, laptop available but receiving very little attention. Together, they make the robot’s attitude immediately readable.

04. Give the punchline room to land.

The lounging robot remains visible near 0:06, just before the roughly 6.4-second clip ends.

The opening text stays on screen across both setups. Its wording doesn’t change; its meaning does.

First, it frames the woman’s entrance as a replacement story. Over the robot, it becomes the caption for a much sillier interpretation of “doing your job.”

The ending holds on that image. It doesn’t need another caption to explain the joke.

Borrow the reversal. Give it your own bad habit.

The useful idea is bigger than putting a robot in an office:

Introduce a supposedly upgraded replacement. Reveal that it inherited a painfully familiar habit.

For an original version, make the habit specific to your audience:

  • A creator’s AI assistant keeps rearranging the desk instead of starting the edit.
  • A student’s study robot makes an elaborate revision plan, then takes a snack break.
  • A fitness robot spends longer choosing its workout playlist than exercising.

Choose one behavior that a single image can demonstrate.

Then build backward: what opening line would make viewers expect competence, speed, or discipline?

Keep the reveal visually simple. The replacement’s posture, prop, and unfinished task should make the joke understandable without a paragraph of explanation.

Two prompts. Your own version.

Use the first prompt to inspect the reference. Use the second to develop and generate an original video for your audience.

01 / Analyze the reference

Analyze this reference video:

Actually watch the video before analyzing it. Do not infer scenes from the cover, caption, comments, or account name. If playback is unavailable, tell me what video file or screen recording you need.

Build a timestamped breakdown of:
1. The exact opening on-screen text and the expectation it creates.
2. The woman's entrance, framing, gaze, gestures, and reaction.
3. When the robot becomes visible, its posture, the phone, and the desk setup.
4. How the reveal changes the meaning of “AI finally took your job.”
5. How long the ending holds and what remains on screen.

Separate visible observations from your interpretation of the humor. Mark approximate timings as approximate. Analyze audio only if you can actually access it.

Report public metrics only when directly verified. Include the source URL, retrieval date, and the platform’s displayed precision. If you can obtain a comparable recent Reel sample from this account, explain the sample size, dates, exclusions, and calculation method before making a comparison. Otherwise omit the comparison. Do not infer retention, conversions, or sales.

Finish with three original adaptations that preserve the expectation-and-reversal structure while changing the setting, behavior, character, and payoff. Do not claim a particular AI model, generation method, or editing workflow unless there is evidence for it.

02 / Generate your own AI replacement video

My brief:
- Topic or niche: [FILL IN]
- Target audience: [FILL IN]
- Goal: [entertain / build recognition / introduce a product / other]
- Platform: [Instagram Reels / TikTok / YouTube Shorts]
- Duration: [6–10 seconds or another duration]
- Setting: [FILL IN]
- Human character: [FILL IN]
- Replacement character: [robot / original AI assistant / other]
- Relatable bad habit: [FILL IN]

- Brand or product, if relevant: [FILL IN OR NONE]

- Audio preference: [silent-readable / sound effects / music / dialogue]

Actually inspect the reference if accessible. If it is unavailable, state that limitation and work from my brief without inventing details about the source.

Create an original joke: the opening should promise a capable replacement, while the reveal shows that the replacement inherited a recognizable human habit. Change the setting, character, action, and wording. Avoid copying True Classic’s exact scene or branding.

First propose three concise concepts. Recommend the strongest one for my audience and goal, then ask me to choose before generating.

For the selected concept, provide:
- The exact opening on-screen text.
- A timed shot plan with a short setup, readable reaction, clear reveal, and enough time to see the punchline.
- Character appearance, expressions, body language, props, camera placement, lighting, and continuity requirements.
- A complete generation prompt for each required shot.
- An editing plan with the cut point, text placement, sound choices, and final hold.

Then use Kabo’s available video-generation capabilities to produce the selected version. Follow any required generation confirmation and disclose any unavailable capability.

Use vertical 9:16 framing. Keep essential text inside platform-safe areas. Make the joke understandable with sound off. Keep the character and setting consistent, and make the bad habit visible through a simple action or pose. If a product is included, give it a natural role in the scene.

Deliver the generated video and final caption, and check that the reveal is readable at normal playback speed.
