Studio: set up your recording before you start

Choose a desktop recording format, add a countdown, and adjust the teleprompter’s text width and spacing.

How to use it
  1. Open a saved script in Scripts, enter recording mode, and open Settings.
  2. On desktop, choose Portrait or Landscape. Set the countdown and adjust the text to suit your reading.
  3. Close Settings, start recording, and wait for the countdown. Review your take before saving it.

New tools to review, compare, and document your videos

Compare a video with your own history, get feedback on hooks and YouTube titles, or export a transcript as Word or Markdown.

How to use it
  1. Open Free tools and choose Video Performance Benchmark, Hook Analyzer, YouTube Title Generator, or Video to Document.
  2. Enter comparable results, paste text for review, or load a video transcript and edit it.
  3. Review the feedback, continue a benchmark in Kabo, or download your document. AI notes stay separate from your transcript.

Studio: turn a saved script into a video

Generate an AI video from a saved script, keep multiple recordings and generated versions, and choose which one to use.

How to use it
  1. Open a saved script in Scripts and choose Generate with AI.
  2. Select your footage and review the model’s estimate before confirming generation.
  3. When it finishes, compare your video versions and choose Use this version to make one current.

Remake a talking-head video from Codex

Give Kabo a talking-head reference and your footage in Codex, then choose a model and download the finished MP4.

How to use it
  1. Install Kabo 1.0.3 or later in Codex and sign in.
  2. Share a public YouTube or Instagram talking-head reference up to 60 seconds, plus your Instagram profile or video links.
  3. Review the model’s estimate, confirm generation, then download the MP4 when it is ready.

Use your Kabo scripts and accounts from your AI assistant

With your permission, Kabo’s MCP tools can read saved work, save or update scripts, and connect public creator profiles.

How to use it
  1. Connect Kabo’s remote MCP server in a compatible AI client, then sign in.
  2. Reconnect and approve the requested workspace permissions for the tools you want to use.
  3. Ask your assistant to open a saved script, save your draft to Kabo, or connect a public Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube profile.

Video remakes: estimates now account for each segment

Talking-video cost estimates now include minimum billed time for each script segment before you confirm a model.

How to use it
  1. Open Kabo Web Agent, share a reference video you have permission to use, and ask to remake it.
  2. Review the adapted script, then compare the model options and their updated cost estimates.
  3. Confirm the displayed estimate before starting. The amount shown is an estimate, not a guaranteed final charge.

Keep your previous report while a video is reanalyzed

Your last successful video report stays available while a new analysis runs, fails, or is canceled.

How to use it
  1. Open a previously analyzed video in Videos or Saved.
  2. Start another analysis. While it runs, review your last successful report below the progress card.
  3. If the new analysis fails or is canceled, your previous report remains available.

Undo an account disconnect in Web Agent

Changed your mind? Use Undo within 8 seconds of disconnecting an account. Your reports, drafts, scripts, and saved videos are kept.

How to use it
  1. Open Connected accounts in Kabo.
  2. Disconnect an account and review the confirmation. Kabo does not delete anything on the connected platform.
  3. Keep the account panel open and choose Undo within 8 seconds if you want to reconnect it.

Video remakes: choose your model before you start

Choose from five talking-video models and review the estimated cost before a video remake starts.

How to use it
  1. Open Kabo Web Agent, share a reference video you have permission to use, and ask to remake it.
  2. Review the adapted script and provide the source materials Kabo asks for.
  3. Choose a talking-video model and confirm the displayed cost estimate before starting.

Profile images no longer reset on incomplete refreshes

Missing avatar data from an account refresh no longer clears its saved profile image.

How to use it
  1. Open Kabo and connect your Instagram or TikTok account.
  2. Open Profile and choose the connected platform.
  3. Review the account’s identity card. If a refresh returns no replacement avatar, Kabo keeps the saved image.

Record your script in the browser

Use Studio’s camera and teleprompter to record a take, review it, then save the take you choose to your script.

How to use it
  1. Open a script in Kabo and choose Record. Connect an account if you want to save the take to Kabo.
  2. Allow camera and microphone access, adjust the teleprompter, and record your take.
  3. Review the recording and choose Use this take to save it to your script and Videos → Drafts.

Build a new script from your own videos

Open a published video in Videos to review its transcript when available. After analysis, use Build my script on this to start a new script.

How to use it
  1. Open Videos, choose your connected platform, and open one of your published videos.
  2. Check Transcript and run Analyze on the video.
  3. Once analysis finishes, choose Build my script on this. Follow the script steps to create your next version.

Your published videos, synced in Web Agent

Your connected accounts’ public videos now sync into Videos automatically. Use Refresh in a platform tab to check for new posts.

How to use it
  1. Connect your account in Kabo, then open Videos.
  2. Choose the tab for your connected platform and let your public videos sync into the library.
  3. Use the Refresh icon at the end of the tab row to check for new videos. The list updates as syncing progresses.

Browse For you, Trending, and rivals in Inspiration. Turn a video or article link into a script, then revisit its source and writing choices.

How to use it
  1. Open Kabo and explore Inspiration. Save a video, or open its details to review the overview and transcript.
  2. In Scripts, choose New script → From a link. Paste a video link to adapt it, or an article link to use its content as a starting point.
  3. Complete the script steps. Open the script’s source details or How it was built to revisit the reference and your choices.

YouTube transcripts: original language by default

Unselected language now follows the video’s original language when YouTube provides it.

How to use it
  1. Open the YouTube transcript generator and paste a YouTube video URL.
  2. Generate the transcript without choosing a language to use the video’s listed original language when available.
  3. If the result offers a language selector, choose another available track when you need it, and review the transcript before quoting it.

How to use it
  1. Open the TikTok sounds chart and compare usage with daily growth.

Take Instagram engagement results into Kabo

Continue in Kabo with your Instagram profile and suggested question, even after sign-in.

How to use it
  1. Enter a public Instagram username or profile URL in the engagement rate calculator.
  2. After the result loads, choose “Continue in Kabo” in the results section.
  3. Sign in if prompted, then continue with the profile and suggested question in Kabo.
