100.41Mmedian of captured values at the provider’s Day 30
How do MrBeast’s new videos perform in their first month compared with a prime-era reference? We checked historical Day 30 counts for Jan–Jun uploads in 2023 and 2026. Seventeen values are verified; two older videos remain uncaptured, so the sample’s limits stay visible.
Scope: main-channel uploads longer than 3 minutes, published Jan 1–Jun 30 in each year. Performance = the same provider’s historical Day 30 cumulative views. Now = 2026; prime-era reference = 2023. Both first-month windows finish before the Aug 24, 2026 public-count definition change.
Both columns use the same third-party historical chart measure: the cumulative view count explicitly labeled Day 30. Two reference videos remain uncaptured at Day 30 and are excluded from its summary. That missing coverage may bias the reference median; no era-wide percentage change is claimed. This compares launch-period reach in the retrieved sample, not lifetime totals or video runtime.

Day 30 is the provider’s displayed daily age bucket. It is not independently verified as an exact publication + 720-hour YouTube Analytics total. Original tooltip dates and text are retained with every observation.

An older video has had years longer to accumulate views. Here, every included performance value comes from the same provider’s Day 30 tooltip. The 2023 reference is measured near its original launch, rather than at its current lifetime total. That directly addresses how much viewing a video attracted during its first month.
The median describes a typical video within each selected window; the mean and individual bars show how larger or smaller launches affect the average. Both sample sizes remain visible. The reference is one explicitly chosen period, not a data-selected all-time peak.
Runtime appears as a supporting field. A longer video does not automatically perform better or worse, and these public counts do not measure retention, watch hours or earnings. Different premises, audiences, competition and the channel’s scale can also influence reach.
The comparison therefore supports a narrow statement about reported first-month viewing in these two samples. It does not isolate the cause of a change or prove that every recent upload performs the same way.
Both publication windows use the same calendar months and duration filter. Their first-month observation windows finish before Aug 24, 2026, when YouTube’s official documentation says the public view-count definition changed. Later 2026 uploads are excluded from this benchmark.
YouTube’s view-count definition ↗Historical video pages were inspected after authorized sign-in. Only a tooltip explicitly reading Day 30 was accepted. Two old charts yielded adjacent Day 29 or Day 31 points during this capture; those values were rejected, not interpolated or treated as evidence that Day 30 history does not exist. Current totals, estimated rank, revenue and typical-performance bands were not substituted. This is third-party tracked history, not access to MrBeast’s private Analytics.
Eligibility comes from the returned public upload catalog; deleted, private or unavailable videos may be absent. Provider tracking, daily sampling and corrections can affect the historical record. Captured tooltip dates are shown verbatim rather than converted into unsupported hourly precision.
