YouTube: public channel statistics and growth history
Social Blade is the more direct fit when you want subscriber totals, view totals and a historical chart. It also offers rankings, comparisons and paid report cards. Its official membership page explains the reporting tiers and history limits. Records start when a profile enters its system; a channel’s creation date is not a promise of complete historical coverage.
Kabo can analyze a public channel and explain patterns in its uploads. In our October 15 GrantBakes task, it returned representative links, a comparison baseline and three next-video ideas. The sample needs scrutiny: we requested at most 20 recent videos, but the answer used 100 uploads and excluded 26 possible Shorts by duration, spanning more than three years. Treat that as a broader review, not a verified latest-20 report.
Before acting on either report, check the date range and which uploads were included. Our creator research overview explains how to carry that evidence into a content decision.

YouTube video research and content analysis
Social Blade shows public performance counts and history for a video. Our October 19 GrantBakes detail page loaded 44,865 views, a chart and daily rows. Choose this report when you want to inspect how visible performance changed over time.
Kabo addresses a different next question: what the video promises, how its structure works and what you could learn from it. In a separate October 15 test of a supplied Grant Bakes tutorial, it returned audience, structure and timestamped creative suggestions. We retained the output, but did not independently verify every claimed audio or visual processing step. You can start a narrower review with the YouTube video analyzer.
A performance chart does not explain why a video succeeded, and a written interpretation does not prove causation. Use both as material to inspect.

From channel research to ideas and scripts
Kabo is our recommendation when you want to keep working after the lookup. You can ask a follow-up question, narrow an audience, compare an idea and develop a script without translating every request into a new tool’s controls. The practical advantage is an approachable conversation across those tasks.
Our separate October 15 writing tests make that capability concrete. A synthetic sourdough brief returned three titles, a description, five tags and a thumbnail concept. A repeat in a new conversation also met the requested title and description lengths. Another fixed brief produced three ideas and a 45-second script draft; the duration was a target, not a timed voiceover. None was published or tested for performance.
Social Blade supplies useful statistical context for that creative review. We did not evaluate a conversational writing workflow there, so this is not a head-to-head script-quality score. Follow the data into content planning, then script writing, or use the YouTube title generator for a focused packaging task.

Instagram: account tracking or planning a Reel?
Social Blade fits a public account lookup or follower comparison. Its Instagram page lists follower rankings and columns for followers, following, media count and engagement rate. A listed field does not guarantee a populated value for every account. We checked the official page on October 19; we did not run a matched Instagram account-history test.
Kabo can research public Instagram accounts and content, then help develop a Reel, caption or script. Our retained October 16 test covered a narrower task: continuing from an audio shortlist into three baking-video concepts and a 25-second shot plan. The Agent did not listen to the tracks, so the creative directions still needed a native audio preview. This demonstrates the research-to-draft workflow, not equivalent follower-history coverage.
The Instagram audio tools comparison retains the creative case. Preview the exact audio and assess its fit before using the plan in a Reel.

TikTok: creator statistics or the next video?
Social Blade offers TikTok creator rankings with public follower, following, likes and video totals. That is useful for checking account scale and choosing creators to investigate. We verified these documented fields on October 19, without testing TikTok history limits or account coverage head to head.
Kabo supports public TikTok account and video research, sound discovery and creative drafting. In our October 16 follow-up, the Agent compared three sound directions and drafted a 25-second beginner-baking montage. It chose Follow Me for conceptual fit and explicitly said it had not listened to the sound. Check the actual version and excerpt in TikTok before editing.
The archived sound-board screenshots predate Kabo’s October 18 data-refresh fix. Their old daily-growth readings are not reliable ranking evidence; we reuse only the documented creative interaction here. See the TikTok sounds comparison for that historical caveat and the retained results.
Twitch and the limits of platform coverage
Social Blade supports Twitch; Kabo does not. For streamer lookup or follower rankings, Social Blade is the relevant choice between these two. Its Twitch directory documents those rankings; account reports, paid features and history depth were not tested here.
Social Blade also lists Facebook alongside YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Twitch on its homepage. That breadth matters for a multi-network tracking job. Fields and history differ by platform. Kabo focuses on public YouTube, Instagram and TikTok evidence, as described in account analysis. Public lookups in either product do not reveal another creator’s private impressions, CTR or retention.
Free access and pricing
Social Blade offers free access alongside Bronze at $5.99/month or $59.99/year, Silver at $14.99/month or $149.99/year, Gold at $59.99/month or $599.99/year, and Platinum at $149.99/month or $1,439.99/year. Annual prices are full-year charges. Paid plans expand favorites, top lists, report cards and aspects of history. Paid output and exports were not tested.
Check the history window before paying: the official page’s free-plan table says 30 days, while its explanatory text says 14 days. Our inspected video showed a Last 14 Days table. That observation does not resolve the allowance for every report or account.
Kabo provides free daily credits. On our pricing check, the Free plan was current, paid prices were not displayed and Buy Pro was disabled. We therefore do not quote a purchasable paid price or promise a fixed number of tasks. Credits used depend on the work.
Which should you choose?
Tracking a group of creators over time? Start with Social Blade, open the historical report and check its actual date coverage before considering a paid tier. A broad public lookup may already answer your question. For another YouTube reporting workflow, see the free analytics tools comparison.
Preparing your next video or Reel? Start with a channel or video in Kabo and state the decision: which format to study, which audience to address, or which angle to draft. Ask for the examples behind the recommendation, then develop the script or packaging. Use Social Blade alongside it when you still need historical tables. Kabo vs Social Blade FAQ
Can Kabo analyze a YouTube channel?
Yes. In our October 15 test, Kabo analyzed GrantBakes, returned video references and proposed three ideas. Its sample exceeded our requested 20-video limit, so check the actual sample and date span before using the conclusions.
Does Social Blade show actual creator earnings?
No. The displayed earnings ranges are estimates. Social Blade’s calculator uses an adjustable RPM range; it does not disclose a creator’s actual private income.
Can either tool reveal another creator’s private analytics?
Public research does not reveal private YouTube Studio metrics such as impressions, CTR or audience retention. Use authorized first-party reports for a channel you manage.
Does Kabo support the same platforms as Social Blade?
No. Kabo supports public-account research and creative workflows for YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. Social Blade also lists Twitch and Facebook. Kabo does not support Twitch, and its analysis is not a substitute for every stored-history report or export.
How we checked
Kabo publishes this comparison. Our October 15 tests used GrantBakes and fixed English prompts. Kabo ran in Regular mode; Social Blade received the same channel URL through native controls rather than the full chat prompt. Channel analysis, video analysis and writing were separate tasks.
On October 19 we revisited the channel, its Traditional / Most Recent list and the first video in an existing logged-in Social Blade session; its plan tier was not independently established. A previously empty video detail loaded counts and history in the follow-up. Both the access issue and successful result are retained in the archive.
The October 16 Instagram and TikTok creative cases came from separate conversations. Social Blade’s Instagram, TikTok and Twitch descriptions use official public pages checked October 19; those platform workflows were not tested head to head. Kabo’s public-account support also follows its current account-analysis documentation. Original inputs, outputs, screenshots and access limits are retained. Recommendations are editorial judgments; publishing and growth outcomes were not tested.
Prices checked October 19, 2026, in USD. Annual equivalents are not monthly charges. Counts, access and product features can change. No result establishes improved rankings, CTR, views or income.
