Estimate a starting range for sponsored posts

Enter followers, engagement rate, and planned brand deals per month to explore an Instagram sponsorship estimate. The bands and adjustments are Kabo model assumptions, not verified account earnings or guaranteed brand offers. Everything is calculated in your browser.

Free and unlimited — nothing you type leaves your browser.
Estimated sponsored earnings · Instagram · Micro (10k–50k)
Per sponsored post$100 – $500Engagement multiplier ×1.00
Per month$200 – $1,000At 2 sponsored posts a month

How it's calculated: your follower tier's assumed base band × an engagement multiplier (your ER ÷ the model reference of 2%, capped at ×0.6–×1.8). The dollar bands, 2% reference, and multiplier limits are Kabo planning assumptions, not verified follower-tier survey results, actual account earnings, or a quote. Model reviewed September 10, 2026; market references below are separate context, not calibration data.

Assumed Instagram base bands per sponsored post at the model reference (2%) — the same bands the calculator uses:

FollowersPer post
Nano (1k–10k)$20 – $100
Micro (10k–50k)$100 – $500
Mid-tier (50k–500k)$500 – $5,000
Macro (500k–1M)$5K – $10K
Mega (1M+)$10K – $25K

01

Enter your followers and rate

Follower count selects a base band. Engagement rate scales both ends of that band; it does not pick a point inside the original range. Use engagement by followers consistently when comparing scenarios.

02

Set your monthly deal count

Enter how many sponsored posts you plan to deliver. The monthly estimate is per-post range × deal count, capped at 30 posts per month in this model. It does not predict how many deals you will secure.

03

Check the assumptions before quoting

Use the result to frame a conversation, then scope the deliverables, production work, usage rights, and exclusivity. The estimate is gross sponsorship revenue before costs and taxes, not take-home profit or a market-validated valuation.

How does this Instagram money calculator estimate earnings?

The follower-tier dollar bands are Kabo planning assumptions. We have not verified a survey mapping for each band's endpoints. The 2% engagement reference and ×0.6–×1.8 adjustment limits are also model choices, not measured Instagram-wide averages. Keep these limits in mind even when an estimate looks precise.

Boundary examples: 25,000 followers and two sponsored posts per month

2%×1.00$100–$500$200–$1,000

1%×0.60 (lower limit)$60–$300$120–$600

What do published Instagram rate benchmarks measure?

An asking price, a negotiated brand cost, and a creator's profit are different measures. Collabstr's 2026 report uses its marketplace's packages and collaborations from 2025. Its Instagram-wide averages below are not follower-tier ranges or a typical single-post contract, and they are not used to calibrate this calculator.

What should you agree before quoting an Instagram post?

The calculator has no inputs for the terms below. Scope them separately before treating any number as an offer.

Deliverables and production

Specify Reel, photo, carousel, or Story; quantity, editing effort, review rounds, and delivery date. A monthly total is not a promise of booked work.

Usage rights and paid ads

Agree where the brand can reuse the content, for how long, and whether paid advertising or account authorization is included. The model does not price these rights.

Exclusivity and expenses

Define any competitor restrictions, travel, props, and extra revisions. These terms can change a negotiated fee but are not automatic multipliers in this tool.

Does Instagram pay creators for views?

There is no universal fixed Instagram payment per 1,000 views that this tool can apply. It estimates brand sponsorships, not platform payouts. Features such as gifts and subscriptions are separate, eligibility-dependent income streams; check your Professional Dashboard and current program terms rather than treating follower or view counts as a payment guarantee.

NEXT STEP

Priced the post. Now grow what it's worth.

The estimate changes with your inputs; it does not measure whether your account became more valuable. Kabo's Instagram Profile diagnostic is in beta, and Trend Radar remains a preview rather than weekly niche monitoring.

Frequently asked questions

How much money can you make on Instagram?

It depends on the income stream and the agreement. At 25,000 followers and 2% engagement, this model gives $100–$500 per sponsored post before costs and taxes. That is an assumed planning range, not verified earnings for accounts of that size. Affiliate sales, gifts, subscriptions, and owned products are outside this estimate.

Does Instagram pay you for views?

Do not assume a universal fixed payment per 1,000 views. This calculator estimates sponsorships paid by brands, not a platform rewards program. Your eligibility and actual platform earnings must be checked in Instagram's Professional Dashboard and the applicable program terms.

How many followers do you need to make money on Instagram?

This model starts at 1,000 followers; that is its coverage limit, not a rule that smaller creators cannot earn money. A paid collaboration depends on the work and agreement, while Instagram monetization features have their own eligibility conditions.

How much does Instagram pay for 10k followers?

Follower count alone does not establish a platform payout. At 10,000 followers and the model's 2% engagement reference, Kabo uses an assumed $100–$500 range per sponsored post. A brand's actual offer may be outside it; the calculator does not read contracts or account income.

Why is the estimate a range and not a number?

The model starts with assumed low and high values for each follower tier and scales both by the engagement multiplier. These are not statistical confidence intervals or measured market minimums and maximums. Niche, format, rights, and individual deal terms are not priced by the three inputs.

What makes brands pay above the band?

The scope of work, audience fit, usage rights, paid advertising permissions, exclusivity, and revision requirements can change the negotiated fee. Agree and price these terms separately; this model cannot predict their premiums or guarantee an above-band offer.

Is this Instagram money calculator free?

Yes. The calculation is free, runs in your browser, and does not require a username or signup. It is a sponsorship planning model, not an appraisal of a specific account or a verified income lookup.
