PUBLIC ACCOUNT AUDIT

Find the gaps holding an Instagram account back

Enter a username or profile URL. Kabo reads the public profile and recent posts, grades five growth signals into one overall grade, and shows what to protect and what to improve next. No account access required — it reads only what any visitor can see.

01

Paste a username

Use the @handle or the full instagram.com profile URL. Kabo resolves it to the public profile before running any checks.

02

Read the score by area

Every signal is graded from public numbers you can check yourself: post dates, views, likes, comments, follower count, and how each post is packaged. Nothing is estimated from private analytics.

What the Instagram account audit checks

The audit checks five signals from the available public sample: publishing consistency, posting recency, engagement rate, a public-view proxy labeled Reach, and SEO packaging. It uses post dates, public interactions, follower and view counts, captions, hashtags, and covers. These are Kabo's scoring rules, not an official Instagram account-health grade.

How the audit score works

Five signals are scored 0–100 when measurable: publishing consistency (post frequency and the regularity of gaps), posting recency (days since the last post), engagement rate (public interactions relative to followers), Reach (median public views divided by the follower count), and SEO (caption, hashtag, and cover checks). Reach is a public-view proxy, not the number of unique accounts reached or proof of how many followers saw a post. If a signal's public inputs are missing, it is left out of the weighted grade instead of being guessed.

What a public audit cannot see

Unique accounts reached, impressions, saves, shares, Stories data, follower demographics, and traffic sources are not available to this audit from a public profile URL. Its Reach signal uses public views and followers only; it does not estimate private Instagram Insights or identify who watched. Confirm actual reach and audience performance inside your own Instagram Insights.

NEXT STEP

A public score finds the gaps. Your own numbers say which one matters.

This audit measures a public account against one fixed benchmark, so it spots what is visibly missing without knowing what normal looks like for you. Bring your own analytics into Kabo and the account review builds your personal baseline first — by comparable format and maturity window — then names what to keep, stop, and test, using reach and saves data no public page can see.

Frequently asked questions

What happens when I sign in from the report?

The report's sign-in buttons open Kabo with the audited account's link and an analysis request ready in the input box. You choose when to send it. If you are already signed in, the full report appears on this page.

What can I enter in the account audit?

An Instagram username with or without the @, or a full instagram.com profile link. The account must be public — private accounts expose no posts to audit.

How is the audit score calculated?

Each measurable signal is scored from 0 to 100. The overall grade is a weighted average using relative weights — engagement 25, consistency 20, SEO 17, Reach 15, recency 15 — divided by the sum of the available weights. Missing signals are excluded, not scored as zero. Reach uses median public views divided by followers: it is a proxy, not unique accounts reached, a follower-viewing percentage, or a measure of audience loyalty.

Does the audit use my Instagram login?

No. It reads only public profile and post information — you never connect your Instagram account or grant Kabo any access. Without a Kabo account you get three audits a day, shared across Kabo's account audits; signing in removes that limit.

Why does the audit care about hashtag counts?

Kabo's SEO packaging signal checks whether each sampled post has a caption of at least three words, no more than five hashtags, and a cover. This is a rule used by this audit, not proof of a platform penalty or a guarantee of distribution.

Can this tool see my reach or saves?

Not your private Instagram Insights. Kabo cannot read unique accounts reached, saves, or shares from the public profile URL. The report's Reach label is a separate public-view proxy: median public views divided by followers. It is included only when those public inputs are available; missing inputs leave that signal unscored.

Does posting more Reels directly raise the score?

No. The five-signal audit does not award a separate bonus for the number or share of Reels. A Reel can contribute its available dates, interactions, public views, caption, and cover to the same checks as other sampled posts. A missing view count is not proof that a post reached nobody.
