Post when their thumbs are out, not when yours are

Choose your audience's clock and what kind of account you run. Kabo turns Sprout Social's 2026 public benchmark into exact audience-local windows, then converts each one to your clock. The location selector changes the clock, not the underlying country sample. Use it as a starting point; your own viewer activity outranks every public table.

Audience times are shown in US Eastern. Your local time zone will be detected after the page loads.

Sprout Social's 2026 benchmark is based on nearly 2 billion cross-network engagements, roughly 307,000 profiles and over 30,000 customers from November 27, 2025 to February 27, 2026. Kabo presents the published windows in an interactive view. The public dataset does not provide a TikTok-only or per-industry sample size. Times are audience Local Time. Sprout Social's summary lists Tuesday–Thursday as 2–6pm even though the Thursday row ends at 5pm; Kabo preserves both values. Source: Sprout Social.

This is a global public engagement benchmark, not a prediction for your account. The audience selector converts its Local Time; it does not create a country-specific dataset. Compare the result with your TikTok Studio viewer activity and recent post performance.

01

Set your audience's time zone

Every source window is published in the target audience's Local Time. Pick the audience clock first; Kabo then shows the next real occurrence in your own time zone, including weekday and daylight-saving changes. This is clock conversion, not country-specific research.

02

Choose overall or your industry

The overall benchmark is the broad baseline. Industry choices replace it with Sprout Social's published sector view; Kabo never invents a location-by-industry intersection the source did not publish.

03

Check your own numbers monthly

Use TikTok Studio → Analytics → Viewers → activity times, or Business Suite → Analytics → Audience. Test a consistent window for a month and keep the times your viewers and post results support.

What does Sprout Social's 2026 TikTok benchmark measure?

Kabo uses Sprout Social's current public TikTok benchmark rather than blending incompatible sources. The underlying dataset is based on engagement from managed social profiles, so it is useful directional evidence—not a universal TikTok activity map or a prediction for your account. Engagement means cross-platform actions such as likes or favorites, comments, shares, DMs and clicks—not TikTok views, watch time or FYP distribution. Where the published summary and weekday table conflict, Kabo keeps both values visible instead of silently rewriting either one.

Sprout Social's benchmark is based on nearly 2 billion cross-network engagements across roughly 307,000 profiles and over 30,000 customers from November 27, 2025 to February 27, 2026. Those counts are not TikTok-only, and per-industry sample sizes are not published. View the Sprout Social source (checked 2026-08-26).

Why does your industry change the best time to post on TikTok?

Different audiences keep different routines. Education peaks around class and after-school hours, retail concentrates around weekday browsing, and travel stays active into weekends. Select an industry only when it reasonably describes the people and content you publish for; otherwise the overall benchmark is the cleaner baseline.

How to find your own best time to post on TikTok

For a creator account, open TikTok Studio → Analytics → Viewers and review activity times. For a Business account on the web, use Business Suite → Analytics → Audience → Activity. Pick two benchmark windows that fit your workflow, keep content cadence comparable for a month, then compare viewer activity and post performance. Your account history is more specific than any public benchmark.

Timing sets the stage. The video carries the show.

Kabo turns a public benchmark into a schedule you can actually read in your own clock. Pair it with your viewer activity, then let the content and your account results decide what stays.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best time to post on TikTok?

Sprout Social's 2026 benchmark summary names Tuesday through Thursday from 2–6pm in your target audience's local time. The day-by-day table is more precise—and ends Thursday at 5pm: Monday 3–5pm, Tuesday 2–6pm, Wednesday 1–8pm, Thursday 1–5pm and Friday 3–5pm. Kabo shows both published values rather than hiding the mismatch.

Does posting time even matter on TikTok?

It can improve the chance that active viewers see a post soon after publishing, but timing is only one signal. TikTok recommendations also depend on viewing behavior, completion or skips, interactions and content information. Treat timing as distribution hygiene, not a guarantee.

What's the best time to post on TikTok on Monday?

The 2026 overall benchmark lists Monday from 3–5pm in the target audience's local time, with a High engagement label. Choose your audience above to see that next Monday window converted to your own clock.

Is the weekend good for posting on TikTok?

Sprout Social's overall table marks Saturday and Sunday Low with no significant global peak. Industry tables are more nuanced: financial services and nonprofits include a Saturday window, while software, tech, travel and hospitality publish recommendations across the full week.

How does the live 'trending pulse' below work?

Kabo samples TikTok's public US trending feed and converts each available posting timestamp into the audience time zone selected above. It is separate from the Sprout Social benchmark presented above and is a survivor sample: it shows when sampled trending videos were posted, not why they trended or what will work in another region.

How do I find my own best time to post?

Use TikTok Studio → Analytics → Viewers → activity times, or Business Suite → Analytics → Audience → Activity. Compare those patterns with a month of your own post performance. That per-account evidence beats any aggregate table, including this one.

Do these windows work for every niche?

No. Kabo presents nine separate Sprout Social sector tables and does not claim a location-by-industry cross-tab or an industry sample size. Use the closest honest fit, then let your own viewer activity override it.
